I forgot to put Office Space in my Top 100. Still, it was one of the most underrated comedies of all-time :-D

Tom Shales was the first guest host to fill in for Gene Siskel just a week or two before Gene passed on. The most uncanny thing about all this was that these two guys looked so much alike. Some may say they wanted to get two thumbs up from Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

Gene died between the time that this show was taped and the time it went on the air. There was a brief prologue to this episode where Roger explained this.

I’m a big fan of Tom Shales and I think he was a great fit for Gene’s absence. The problem is he is having opening night jitters. If he had more time I think he would have been perfect.
