I love the yearly stinker shows! Boy I’m glad I missed the Dudley Moore film shown here!

Maybe Fini should get together with the Melanie Griffith character from Shining Through - "Fini, taste my strudel."

That’s Pavarotti?! I thought it was Dom Deluise...

Pavarotti will be missed but who would have thought he would wound up in a stinker like "Yes, Giorgio!"?

I’m not a fan of the "Porky’s" franchise but the only good films that late director, Bob Clark did was "A Christmas Story and "From the Hip". The rest after that (including "Baby Geniuses") was trash!

"Six Weeks" sounds like "My Sister’s Keeper" from another generation. But, I have to admit, it wasn’t that bad!

Gene actually gave thumbs up to Halloween 3.

I also liked Bob Clark’s 1974 "Black Christmas", but never the "Porky’s" films.

I wonder if Gene, at 17:47, became the first person in the press to use the word "prequel."

Not only that, if memory serves me right, he sang the "Eight More Days to Halloween" song during his review.

Knowing Gene, he probably appreciated the fact that Halloween 3 was more of an anthology film rather than a flat out sequel.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary the word prequel first appeared in print in 1958 in an article by Anthony Boucher in The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction.

I found the 1/2 star INCHON review from Roger:

Lawrence Olivier as Inchon...LAUGH RIOT NEEDED HERE! Seriously, WHAT were the producers thinking?

@pfinlay: maybe He and Roger mentioned the word in their sneak previews review of Butch and Sundance: The Early Years in 1979.

Even though Gene put "I ought to be in pictures" on the list,
Roger actually gave it a thumbs up.

@Xtroid: No no, that was a skunk in a Barret! I see how you thought it was Dom Delouise though.

These guys were a class act and as funny as my favorite comedians.

I love these worst of episodes. Although I don’t always necessarily agree with some of their choices, it is a riot hearing these guys rip these films to shreds.

Love watching these worst of episodes and I definitely agree with their their choice of Amityville 2 which was revolting and unpleasant a movie as I’ve ever seen to be quite honest. I have to disagree with their choice of I Ought To Be In Pictures and Porky’s, that were a lot better than most of the dreck that was on here. Six Weeks was definitely a tear jerker in the worst sense, but it did have its moments.

It’s amazing how much of a hack Terrance Young (director of Inchon) became. He directed three out of the first four James Bond movies and Wait Until Dark. Everything else never worked.

I have to disagree with their defining Porky’s as hateful to women. The female characters in Porky’s were equally as despicable as the male characters, and they were just as hateful to the male characters as vice versa.
That aside...I wholeheartedly agree with all of their stinker reviews.

Hey, Dudley Moore composed the music for Six Weeks, too. Multi-talented tear-jerking. :D
