Thanks so much for this episode. I was a huge fan of Tina Turner & her film at the time, but somehow missed this original review show. I did catch it in the later Oscar picks shows though.

"Super Mario Bros." sucked because it’s one of the worst films of all time and I’ve never seen "What’s Love Got To Do With It", I’ll check this one out some other day. And I loved "Tron" and "Tron Legacy", these films are great.

Therefore, I was extremely disappointed with "Super Mario Bros." It ruined anything that came directly from the Video Game. Plus, lots of miscasting in the film too.

"Life with Mikey" is a decent comedy with Michael J. Fox, Nathan Lane and Cyndi Lauper.

"Guilty as Sin", yet another thriller about a woman killer, devilishly played by Don Johnson.

"What’s Love Got to Do With It" is a good documentary about Tina Turner.

Also, "Tron" is the best film of all time, I even enjoy "Tron: Legacy".

LIFE WITH MICKEY and SUPER MARIO BROS. were pretty lame, I was 13 at this time and found the films to be painful.

I agree with Roger, Gene missed the boat on GUILTY AS SIN. I think it was one of the most underrated films of the 90’s.

I loved WHAT’S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT, I saw it when it came out, Gene and Roger make me want to see it again.

Arnold, Arnold, Arnold. LAST ACTION HERO was horrible, and worst insulted it’s audience, and despised it’s fans. This, of course would lead to BATMAN&ROBIN and JINGLE ALL THE WAY.

"Super Mario Bros." was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen in my life. "House of the Dead" IS the WORST video game movie I’ve seen, though.
