I like how one of Siskel’s negative points on Jack is that it’s just Robin Williams doing his schtick, yet with King of Thieves, one of its high points to him is the return of Robin Williams, who does nothing in the film but do his schtick.

Yeah, but in King of Thieves he’s a side character, in Jack he’s the main character. And even in the Aladdin sequel, it gets real old real fast.

I love their disagreement on Escape from LA. Ebert was right on though. A great cult movie in my mind.

His argument was that as a child he shouldn’t be doing Robin Williams schtick.

I realized tonight that Siskel seemed to get beat down in his opinion regarding films at this point of the show. Ebert totally dominates the reviews. Is it just my imagination?
