Man, things were a lot different during the first episode! It’s interesting that even "Aroma, The Educated Skunk" gets his first appearance!

Also, interesting is to see Bob Hoskins in two excellent films on the same weekend, "The Long Good Friday" and "Pink Floyd: The Wall". That was long before his other roles in "Mona Lisa" and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".

"Class of 1984" was a great film, even though it was hard to believe that Michael J. Fox was in this in the same year, "Family Ties" came out.

BTW, was this a screener of the original taping of the series because I heard that these copies were thrown away?

Now this is the "thumb’s up" and "thumb’s down" ratings. "The Long Good Friday" and "Pink Floyd the Wall" were the first two movies that gave "Two thumbs up!" and they both star Bob Hoskins, before there was "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" in 1988 (the year I was born). Great episode! Love it! 10/10.

Roger Watkins of Pink Floyd? Rare mistake by Ebert, love the reviews though. These two were awesome together.
